The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Lord, send your Spirit upon us. Guide us in our lives and let us always seek your face. Show us your love and give us the opportunity to show the love of Christ to those whom we meet. Let us find joy in our prayer, our work, and our families. Bring us peace in our trials and grant us rest in you. Give the patience to serve our brothers and sisters in the way that you have shown us. Inspire in us generosity, and show us the face of Christ in those to whom we give our time, our talent, and our support. Keep us faithful to your Word, and let us seek guidance from your Church: the mystical Body of Christ. Remind us always of the beatitudes, especially gentleness, that we may live in harmony with all of Creation. Keep us from excess consumption, both bodily and spiritually, of those things that lead us away from the love of the Trinity. We ask these things through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who loves and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
